Part-time Assistant Cook – 16 hrs per week

Hourly Rate: £9.62 (pay award pending)
We are looking to enhance the service we provide at the Shildon Civic Hall and now have a vacancy for an Assistant Cook.
The post holder will be contracted to 16 hours per week which includes evenings and weekend working with the opportunity of additional casual hours as and when required.
Duties will include the preparation and cooking of meals to be served in the restaurant & function suite, general kitchen duties and the ordering of foodstuffs from suppliers.
The post will involve working as part of a small team aiming to deliver a good quality end product to all customers.
You will be eligible to join the Local Government Pension Scheme.
