A huge thank you to all our residents for supporting Shildon Town Council’s Christmas ‘Tree Switch-On Event, and Festive Family Entertainment’, at the Shildon Civic Hall.
We had great attendance to the event, including Shildon Town Council Mayor Louise Mather, who was on hand to welcome everyone, including all our special guests Santa Claus; Mr. Twister, Rudolph, Elsa and Olaf who sang and entertained the crowd, until we handed the mic back to the Mayor Louise, who began the count down. The tree looked splendid, once the lights went on showing it off to full effect and everyone cheered and clapped.
Then it was back to the Civic Hall for Mr Twisters Entertainment show, photo opportunities with Elsa and Olaf, plus table top sale to browse for those final presents. To keep the children entertained we had FREE face painting and nail art and visit to Santa which all went down extremely well.
