Post Title: Direct Works Operative
Salary: £20,903 per annum plus overtime payments

Direct Works Depot
The post holder will be required to work on all disciplines within the Direct Works Section. The main focus of duties will be grass cutting, general horticultural work, litter picking, grave digging, cleansing operations along with future activities that the post holder will be expected to carry out as part of the Town Council’s flexible working agreement.
The post holder must have knowledge and experience of working with a variety of ride-on and petrol driven machinery. You must have the ability to communicate effectively with the public and will be required to work in other service areas within the Direct Works Section as required.
A full driving licence is essential. Overtime and weekend working is a requirement of the post. NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Horticulture preferred.
