We are looking to enhance the service we provide at the Shildon Civic Hall and now have a vacancy for a Senior Bar and Catering Assistant. At certain times this post is expected to take on additional supervisory duties in the absence of the duty manager at an enhanced rate of pay.
The post holder will be contracted to 20 hours per week, flexible working to include days/ evenings and weekends. The post holder will be eligible to join the Local Government Pension Scheme.

Shildon Youth Group will be starting regular weekly youth sessions on Tuesday 5th July from 6.00pm, sessions will run weekly throughout the year, including term times and holidays, at the Foundation Building on Church Street, Shildon. Tonight there will be a pool tournament, X Box play and more, so, bring a friend along and join in the fun.
Fun and Food- Free Easter Family Fun Activities including lunch, will again take place at the Shildon Civic Hall.

The Homestay group are offering a drop-in service every Wednesday 10am – 12pm at Shildon Alive to discuss support with housing, landlord issues, debts, support with benefits just in case we have anyone in the office, and it is a week when Citizens Advice are not here as they only offer a fortnightly session.
